Suicide Prevention Seminar - Rio de Janiero, Brazil - 2012
In September 2012, I was invited to present a seminar about suicide prevention and to give a workshop on psychotherapy for people at risk of suicide at the 4th Seminar on Suicide Prevention at Rio de Janeiro State University. This university has been struggling with high rates of suicide among college students. My presentation was based on my clinical experience treating depression in adolescents and young adults.
